Tink opened the box carefully to reveal a short, shattered mirror on a bed of crushed velvet.
This day's addition comes courtesy of: @PeteCollinsMCR
“…will help you on your path of hope” He stretched out his hand and Tink reluctantly grabbed the long thin box.
@Kumaluva Tink winced playfully as the cacophony of hope’s laughter announced the birth of a rose within the box. Another’s plans…
@3hundredand65 tink blinked ‘what happened to your wing?’ ‘Just scars from my journey, they have made me who I am, shall we?’ tink smiled.
A box. Tink hesitated. How best to use this? Wield it? Open it? Abandon it? Don’t blame your tools. Take it. Just keep moving on.
@3hundredand65 I took the box, opened the top and looked inside. It seemed empty but as I stared a velvet darkness expanded from its depths.
